Slide-Tackling Rule Modification for
O50, O55, O60, O65

"Sliding" is allowed.
Sliding is defined as the following: Going to the ground to make a play on the ball that does not endanger or make contact with another player or engage a player currently in possession of the ball.

"Slide-tackling" is NEVER allowed in these age brackets.
Slide-tackling is defined as the following: Going to ground to make a play on the ball that engages a player currently in possessions of the ball or may result in contact with another player.

A slide-tackle is an immediate RED but the players ID card will be returned to them at the end of the game.

However, if the slide tackle results in the tackled player being injured and unable to play for the duration of the game, the official will keep the offending player's ID card and forward it to the GSSL office, along with a detail of the violation and the injured player's name so that the Judicial Committee can apply a fair consequence.
