Player safety has always been the most important goal for us, so your safety will be an important factor in how we restart play following the COVID-19 pandemic. We will follow all state guidelines for resuming outdoor athletic competition, but no matter what procedures we put in place and how many times we remind players, referees, and trainers to be careful, we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to the COVID-19 virus while participating in one of our games or activities.
The GSSL, UWSC, and WSWSA need to make sure you recognize this possibility before we allow you back on the field, so we are requiring every player, referee, and trainer to read, sign, and submit this liability waiver form before they are allowed to participate in a scheduled game. This waives your right to sue should you contract the COVID-19 virus while taking part in a GSSL sanctioned game or activity.
