Tom started playing soccer in 1976 when some guys from his company decided to form the Little Feet team and play in the lower divisions of what in those days was the combined WSSA/GSSL. They had maybe three guys who had played before, and the rest were enthusiastic if not talented.
In 1980, he also started playing for an over-30 team coached by De-En Lang. They had practice every Saturday morning, and he credits Mr. Lang for helping him develop whatever skills he has today.
The team (Ravenna Volvo, Goombah's Tavern, MicroAge, Lang Financial, and finally FC Lang) is still playing in the Over-65 and over-68 divisions (and still practicing every Saturday morning). Some of the guys have played together for over 30 years.
He's retired and now enjoys traveling around the world for masters tournaments. The GSSL has made soccer a lifetime sport and he wants to help keep that going.
Enisa came to the United States with her husband Emir and two sons, Amar and Adi, in July 1993.
Before coming to the United State, Enisa earned her four-year degree in Economics.
Her involvement with soccer started from the day she met her husband, a professional soccer player.
She has been with Greater Seattle Soccer League for 18 years.
Kelly became involved in soccer at a young age. She's been playing and loving it her entire life!
A native of the Northwest, she loves being outdoors and exploring the area. Being active is a big part of her life. She's a certified fitness instructor. And a current team manager and player in the league.
She played soccer for George Fox University where she earned a degree in Business and Economics with a focus in Management.
When she's not in the office, you can find her on adventures with her family!
Greg brings his skills, experience, and unique understanding of non-profit organizations to GSSL as Bookkeeper and Financial Analyst. He has served Mercer Island FC as their Board President, Treasurer, VP of Select Soccer, and been a coach and team manager for many teams. At Mercer Island FC, he led in the strategic planning, financial decisions, hiring, board member recruitment and vendor and sponsorship relationships. Greg brings his ability to understand the financial challenges of a small organization and how it relates to operations to GSSL and we’re lucky to have him on the team!
Specializing in brand development, Lydy is excited to bring her expertise to our team. For the past several years, she has thrived as a full-time freelancer, lending her talents as a graphic designer and marketing consultant to clients across the United States. Prior to her freelance years, Lydy was Senior Graphic Designer at the Bruce Lee Family Company, where she led web design and management, designed logos and branding, created marketing collateral, and managed in-house creative and marketing initiatives. She looks forward to applying her skills to support GSSL's growth and is excited about what the future will bring.
