The 2010 George Washington Tournament Schedule The George Washington Tournament is named after the George Washington Trophy, which was donated to the Seattle Soccer League (as the GSSL was known by then) by one George Parsons in 1927. It is a sterling silver trophy, about 30" high and weighing perhaps twenty pounds. The base carries the names of the GWT winners in each division from each year. The trophy is kept at the GSSL office.
